Another excellent piece, Jaclynn. The public health system and it's woke band of 'gender specialists' have swung the pendulum so far to the other side. I totally agree with you that the default setting should be that children are taught that their body is theirs, part of who they are, and that they should love and accept themselves. We should expand the scope of what it means to be a boy or a girl, rather than jump to puberty blockers and surgery to address what for the most part turns out to be psychological issues related to being a feminine boy or a masculine girl (with or without attraction to the same sex).
